Photography Tour of Melbourne
The tour will commence with an illustrated overview of the photographic design principles and elements set out in the course notes. Instruction by a professional photographer who will be your guide. Make sure you bring your digital camera as this is a hands on practical course on Travel photography.









Where & When:

The tour begins at 8:30 am (nice light) on Saturdays in front of the Melbourne visitors centre in Federation Square and ends at 11:30am or 4pm. The tour can be for locals or tourists. The tour + course is designed for all levels of photography regardless on the type of digital camera. It is about learning how to spot the shot, watch the light , place close attention to detail and compose the image as you see it.

The tour will cost $99 (G.S.T. inc) per person.
Visual treasures are everywhere but you will have to find the golden angle that suits you best! You will have loads of chances to practice on your own as you walk through the hidden back streets of Melbourne. What you will experience and learn you can take with you , come and unlock your creative mind. Have the confidence to trust your own vision.

FAQ:

- Do I need a DSLR? No, you can bring a compact point and shoot or DSLR.
- Do I need prior experience? No, it is for all levels of experience.
- If it rains will we continue to shoot? Only if it is drizzling and you have umbrellas.
- If it is canceled will we get a refund? Yes, if you can't transfer to another available date.
- Will you help me learn how to use the functions on my camera? Yes, bring your camera manual.
-If I don't have a credit card, can I pay cash on the day? Yes, you can but it does not guarantee you a spot as pre-paid bookings have priority. I will however contact you to offer an alternative.
- Can minors under 16 years of age join the workshop? Yes, if they are with a paying adult.
- Will I learn some technical skills like aperture & shutter speed? Yes, you will learn the basics.
- I am having trouble paying with my credit card on paypal, it keeps coming up with an error. Any idea what may be the problem? If you are on an old internet explorer browser then I suggest you try a new version or a different browser. If you are still having problems please contact to arrange an alternative method of payment.

What to bring:
- Digital Camera
- Fully charged batteries and spares if possible.
- Image cards formatted and spares if possible.
- Hat, sun-glasses, sun-lotion & water.
- Good walking shoes.
- Umbrella if raining.
- Camera Manual (Please understand all the functions).
- Tripod (Night Photography).



Camera Rental
- Bring your own USB stick to save your images.
- $20 per 3 hour tour (DSLR)
